Description
The Jersey City Public School district seeks proposals from an outside agency or private practitioner to provide Nursing Services consisting of Certified Nursing Assistants and/or Licensed Practical Nurses and or Registered Nurses. These services are to be conducted by a specialist qualified in the field of nursing, and who is approved by the State of New Jersey to provide Nursing services as requested by the child study team through an Individualized Educational Plan (I.E.P.) or as required by a physician to permit participation in formal schooling. The District has historically required as many as seven (7) nurses in the course of a school year.
