MRB-58059 - USA (Michigan) - State Lobbying and Governmental Affairs Services - Deadline November 6,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide state lobbying and governmental affairs services.– This includes, but is not limited to, identifying key issues, developing strategies, drafting materials, and engaging with lawmakers and government agencies on behalf of the Authority.– Services shall include, but are not limited to, legislative advocacy, governmental relations, state funding and grant opportunities, regulatory advocacy, issue monitoring, strategic communications, and representation before state decision–makers and agencies.– Analyse proposed legislation, policies, administrative actions, and regulatory developments and advise the Authority regarding potential impacts to its operations, programs, finances, infrastructure, and strategic priorities. – Provide regular legislative and governmental affairs updates, including monthly, quarterly, and annual activity reports, as appropriate. • Provide timely notification of applicable state funding opportunities, legislative developments, and changes to state funding programs. –Facilitate periodic meetings, briefings, and other engagements with appropriate members of the Michigan Legislature, executive branch officials, state agencies, and their respective staffs. – Provide guidance to Authority leadership regarding appropriate governmental engagement and relationship–building opportunities. – Draft or assist in the development of official correspondence, including letters of support, legislative testimony, briefing materials, talking points, and other advocacy materials. – Assist the Authority in developing and refining its legislative agenda and strategic advocacy priorities. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 27, 2026.
