(1) Vendor needs to provide household hazardous waste collection services to the government authority located in Troutville, VA. – Provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, packaging, transportation, and disposal services.– Collection event shall operate as a drive–through collection event.– Residents shall remain in their vehicles while contractor personnel unload materials.– Contractor shall provide sufficient qualified and properly trained personnel to safely unload, receive, identify, segregate, inventory, package, label, handle, load, transport, and dispose of collected during each event.– Contractor shall provide employees to assist with unloading residents’ vehicles and conducting collection activities.– Contractor shall provide all equipment and supplies necessary for the safe collection and handling of HHW, including appropriate personal protective equipment, fire prevention equipment, spill response equipment, containers, packaging materials, labels, and other equipment necessary to perform the services.– Contractor shall be responsible for establishing and maintaining safe procedures for the receipt, segregation, identification, packaging, testing, handling, and loading of materials collected during each event.– Contractor shall provide appropriate procedures for the identification and handling of unknown materials received during the event.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 24, 2026.
