Vendor needs to provide prosecuting attorney services to the government authority located in Edmonds, WA.– Prosecution of criminal misdemeanours and gross misdemeanours, civil and traffic infractions, criminal code enforcement, and animal control matters, together with the additional duties.– Review of cases for filing:– Approve for filing or decline for filing within fourteen (14) days of receipt in accordance with charging and disposition standards.– Complaints:– At the same time, prepare file notes regarding evidence, witnesses, and any extra information needed before trial.– Discovery:– Provide discovery for pro se defendants and ongoing discovery as material arises.– Subpoenas:– Subpoena all witnesses in accordance with current practices and court rules, file proof of service with the court, and notify witnesses if they are not needed.
