(1) Vendor needs to provide legal services to the government authority located in Springfield, IL.• Provide a wide range of legal servicess relative to Human Resources and Personnel related matters.• The Attorney shall attend agency or other meetings, tending to all personnel relatedmatters that may arise such as Union contract negotiations, grievances, arbitration, and Human rights filing by employees and such other additional work.• Employment issues, including personnel rules, discrimination, and wrongful terminationclaims; workers’ compensation and compliance with agency requirements.– Potential Service Areas. As may be further detailed herein, the agency shall require thesuccessful proposer to provide services pertaining to Agency–related matters within thefollowing areas, each pertaining to applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations,statutes, laws, and codes:a. Accounting, Finance and related auditsb. Operations, including Tenant/Landlord Law PH, HCV, Mixed Finance Developmentc. Maintenanced. Development and Modernization – Contractual Lawe. Housing Programs Review, Revision, and Interpretationof policies as they relate to regulationf. U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developmentg. Real Estate Transactions and agency Transactionsh. Tenant related issues, including non–payment, evictions and grievancesi. Procurement Law (State; Federal; HUD)– Chief Executive Officer and/or Board of Commissionersk. Public Housing, HCV, and Mixed Finance Development(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 10, 2026.
