Fresh Food Initiative RFI

The City of Tampa (“City”) is working to enhance our understanding of ways to improve access to fresh produce and meat for our residents in low-income areas within the City, specifically East Tampa and Sulphur Springs. The purpose of this RFI is to solicit input, gather insights, and identify best practices from food-related businesses, including but not limited to, neighborhood corner stores, restaurants, mobile markets, and supermarkets to inform our initiatives. Information from this RFI will help the City create an Request for Proposals (RFP) for funding organizations that increase fresh food access in East Tampa and Sulphur Springs.
