(1) Vendor needs to provide local food systems.– While this system generally functions well, recent events, including supply chain disruptions during the COVID–19 pandemic, increasing concerns about food affordability and food insecurity, and uncertainty surrounding external food assistance programs have highlighted the importance of strengthening local food system resilience.– Provide accessibility accommodations including accessible digital content.– Utilize interactive engagement methods (e.g., small groups, visual tools, polling).– Develop a community engagement survey in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.– Develop a Local Food Systems Plan addressing food production, distribution, access, security, and resilience. – The project includes data collection, community engagement, and development of an implementation–ready plan with strategies and potential Comprehensive Plan.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 28, 2026.
