(1) Vendor needs to provide library curation services to the government authority located in Elgin, IL. – Provide library curation services to support the development of recommended school library collections.– The selected vendor will assist the agency in developing high–quality, diverse, age–appropriate, and curriculum–aligned library collection recommendations for elementary, middle, and high school libraries.– Provide professional library curation services, including but not limited to:○ Evaluate collection development needs based on information provided by the agency.○ Develop curated library resource recommendations aligned with District curriculum, instructional goals, literacy initiatives, and student interests.○ Recommend materials that support diverse perspectives, cultures, languages, identities and experiences while promoting an inclusive library collection.○ Ensure all recommended materials are age–appropriate and aligned with the intended grade level.○ Consider collection balance across fiction, nonfiction, reference, graphic novels, multilingual resources, digital resources, and other requested formats.○ Recommend newly published, high–quality titles as well as established works when educationally appropriate.○ Exclude out–of–print, unavailable, or sole–source titles unless specifically requested by the agency.○ Revise and refine curated lists based on District feedback.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 27, 2026.
