EXTRA-79071 - USA (Albany, New York) - Wasted Food Reduction and Food Scraps Recycling Initiatives Services - Deadline November 2,2028

(1) Vendor needs to provide wasted food reduction and food scraps recycling initiatives services to the government authority located in Albany, NY.– Programs that promote and implement wasted food reduction and/or increase the recycling offood scraps by residential, institutional, municipal, or commercial entities may be eligible forfunding through this grant opportunity.– Develop new or expand existing food scraps recycling programs or facilities owned and operated by not–for–profits or municipalities.– Establish or improve food scraps recycling programs at K–12 schools, farmers’ markets, community–based organizations or community centers.– Reduce wasted food generated by residential, institutional, municipal, and commercial entities.– Outreach and education costs such as graphic design, web design, artists, creating or designing program documents, advertising events, outreach consultants, etc.(2) A pre–bid meeting will be held on December 2, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
