RFP Derelict Vessel Disposal Services

The City and Borough of Sitka (CBS) requests proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for the removal and disposal of six (6) derelict wooden vessels currently in CBS harbor custody. The Contractor is responsible for towing each vessel by water from its designated CBS moorage location. From the point of departure, the Contractor assumes full responsibility for all towing, haul-out, transport, and disposal at a crushing or disposal facility coordinated by the Contractor. The Contractor assumes full responsibility for each vessel from the point of departure from CBS moorage, including all towing, haul-out, and overland transport.
