Vendor needs to provide employee benefits brokerage and consulting services to the government authority located in Houston, TX.– Services related to the administration, acquisition, designing, improvement, implementation, maintenance, negotiating, and planning of employee benefits and insurance programs, including health, dental, vision, life, and supplemental and voluntary employee benefits.– Develop short and long–range employee benefit program goals and strategies, including areas of concern, alternative delivery systems, and review of the program’s performance.– Manage and assist with annual benefits renewals, including negotiation of changes in contracts and employee communications, and facilitating open enrollment.– Review the employee benefit packages for quality, cost effectiveness, competitiveness and customer service through plan administration.– Provide information on employee benefit issues, trends, coverage options, and proposed or new legislation.– Analyze claims history and insurance utilization at least quarterly.– Assist in and review employee benefit communications and participate in benefit fairs and annual enrollment process.– Evaluate and provide recommendations on various insurance products submitted for consideration by insurance carriers or third parties.
