(1) Vendor needs to provide grant writing services to the government authority located in Montana.• Provide grant writing and funding development services on an as–needed basis.• Secure dependable grant development capacity; improve the quality, competitiveness, and compliance of applications; provide timely and candid feasibility advice; and maintain clear records of opportunities, assignments, submissions, awards, and unsuccessful applications.• Monitor federal, state, local, foundation, corporate, and other funding sources that are open and eligible for federally recognized governments or eligible entities.• Immediately flag opportunities that present unrealistic timelines, burdensome match or sustainability requirements, reimbursement risk, or other material concerns.• Provide a written data and document request early enough for staff to respond without jeopardizing the deadline.• Develop complete, funder–responsive application narratives that directly address every published criterion, scoring factor, and required question.• Prepare or coordinate required attachments, including forms, assurances, resolutions, letters of commitment, partner documentation, maps, plans, resumes, organizational materials, and other supporting documents.• Identify all cash and in–kind match requirements and clearly state whether a waiver is allowed, requested, or unavailable.• Develop a detailed application budget and budget narrative that reconcile with the proposed scope, schedule, staffing, match, indirect costs, and funder requirements.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
