Description
Vendor needs to provide single stream recyclables, cardboard and bulky rigid plastics processing and marketing services to the government authority located in Binghamton, NY.– Contractors to receive, process, and market the single stream recyclables, bulky rigid plastics, and cardboard from the landfill residential drop– off.– Contractor agrees that these materials shall be returned to the economic mainstream for reuse or re–manufacturing.– These materials shall not be landfilled, incinerated or otherwise disposed of.– Contractor shall make available at the agency request all records relating to the marketing of materials, including, but not limited to contents, invoices and bills of lading.– Interested bidders submit processing fees based on per ton of single stream recyclables, bulky plastics, and cardboard collected.– Single stream, cardboard, and bulky rigid plastics will be collected in roll–off containers separately and brought to the contractor’s facility weekly.– For reference, approximately 350 tons of single stream recyclables, 25 tons of bulky mixed rigid plastic, and 130 tons of cardboard is generated annually.
