Minor Home Repair

It is the objective of the County to preserve and maintain the existing affordable housing stock and to increase the availability of safe, healthy, and affordable permanent housing for low-income and moderate-income residents, including senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and families impacted by COVID-19 and as part of the American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA). The applicant shall serve low-income homeowners who are senior citizens, families, and/or disabled person's earning 50% or less of the area median income, by providing home rehabilitation activities to these single-family homeowners occupied households. The Applicant will offer health and safety related small emergency minor home maintenance and prevention repairs generally costing, but not limited to, approximately $500; and more complex, non-emergency home repair activities that will generally not exceed $15,000.00. All work will be provided free of cost to the homeowner.
