Vendor needs to provide professional security services to the government authority located in Jonesboro, AR. – Security guards will be unarmed. The selected vendor will ensure a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for library patrons, staff, and property.– Core Duties• Patron Assistance: Provide a visible, helpful, and welcoming presence to the public.• De–escalation: Handle disruptive behavior using calm, non–violent communication.• Access Control: Monitor main entrances, exits, and restricted staff areas.• Foot Patrols: Conduct regular walkthroughs of reading rooms, restrooms, stacks, and parking areas.• Emergency Response: Assist staff during medical emergencies, fire alarms, or building evacuations.• Incident Reporting: Write detailed daily logs and maintenance/incident reports.
