(1) Vendor needs to provide veterinary services to the government authority located in Philadelphia, PA.• The Federal Protective Service Canine Unit requires veterinary services from a full–service Veterinary Provider for up to 21 dogs, to include:– Routine Preventative Veterinary Care– Routine Incidental Outpatient Veterinary Care– 24–hour Emergency Veterinary Care/Boarding– Annual Wellness Examinations, to include:• Check weight, blood pressure, temperature, and breathing• Palpating of the abdomen and lymph nodes, checking limbs • Dermatological analysis• Check teeth and gums • Analyzing ear, nose, and throat, eyes, and ears • Check paws and claws • Observation of behavior and motion • Check joints, bones, and muscles• Taking a fecal sample and lab work to assess any intestinal parasites or certain digestive issues(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) Total Small Business Set–Aside (FAR 19.5)
