Vendor needs to provide film advisor and assessment services.• The film advisor and assessor will be required to provide written evaluation reports on the artistic quality of the work of both: (i) individual artists and organisations funded by the arts council and (ii) new and potential applicants.• The film advisor and assessor assists the council in the process of evaluating applications received from organisations for grants in the main funding programmes (strategic funding; arts grant funding; festivals investment scheme).• The film advisor and assessor will assist the council in the process of assessing applications received from individuals and organisations for awards and schemes and other funding opportunities offered by the council, either independently or in conjunction with another body.• The film advisor and assessor will be expected to maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of film in country and overseas, including the identification of new trends, and to ensure that the council is provided with intelligence on same in a timely and appropriate manner.
