This procurement request seeks to acquire specialized training ammunition that aligns with the Police Department’s firearms training and qualification needs. The ammunition is essential to ensure safe and consistent performance across all training platforms, particularly in indoor and close-quarters environments. Florida Bullet, Inc. is uniquely positioned as the sole source provider authorized to supply Federal and Speer Law Enforcement ammunition within Florida. The purchase complies with the City of Hialeah’s Purchasing Manual (Section 26 – Sole Source Purchases), which permits noncompetitive procurement when only one supplier can fulfill the department’s operational requirements.
