(1) Vendor needs to provide venue operator services.• The selected operator would oversee all aspects of the center including operations and engineering, food service (either self–operation or contracted), booking and programming, merchandising, ticketing, technology, security, parking, maintenance, sales, marketing, and promotions.• The selected operator shall professionally manage the facility to increase utilization, expand programming reflective of community, progress toward financial sustainability, and operate in alignment with the city’s public mission and values.• The operator shall evaluate and improve basic customer–facing systems, including online event information, ticket–buyer communication, social media presence, booking processes, customer relationship management, rental inquiry response, and patron communication.• The operator shall bring professional venue management expertise, industry knowledge, marketing capacity, programming experience, and practical operating discipline that the city does not currently possess internally at the necessary scale.• The operator shall develop and implement a business development strategy to increase use of the mansfield theatre, convention center, and associated event spaces. this shall include renewed outreach to prior users, recruitment of new local users, regional event development, conference recruitment, and appropriate presenting opportunities.• The operator shall work with the city to identify realistic revenue opportunities, including sponsorships, facility–use fees, rental structures, co–promotion opportunities, and presenting opportunities. (2) A mandatory pre–bid site–visit will be held on July 28, 2026.(3) All question must be submitted no later than July 30, 2026.(4) A contract period will be for four years.
