(1) Vendor needs to provide security services to the government authority located in South Bend, IN.• Completing daily reports and security logs.• Patrolling and monitoring assigned area, establishing a visual presence, monitoring, reporting suspicious activity and assisting bus operators as needed.• Security must be visible when buses are arriving and departing.• Monitors security cameras and inspects property as needed.• Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives.• Escorting trespassers off buses and premises.• Ensuring safety of passengers, employees and assets at all times.• Communicating with operations supervisor regularly and contacts law enforcement and emergency services as needed.• Reporting any safety issues such as fire hazards, vandalisms, suspicious or criminal activity.• Informing passengers of policies and procedures; providing aid and assistance as needed.(2) A pre–bid meeting will be held on October 09, 2026.(3) All questions must be submitted no later than October 14, 2026.
