MEDICAL COURIER SERVICES

The Orange County Public Health Laboratory (OCPHL) requires medical courier service to pick up approximately four thousand (4,000) laboratory specimens annually from Health Care Agency clinics, community hospitals and laboratories on a regular pre-established schedule. Contractor shall also pick up supplies and laboratory reports from the OCPHL and deliver them to clients. Health Care Agency Correctional Health Services has a Memorandum of Understanding to provide medications to the inmates, detainees and prisoners housed in the Orange County Jail Correctional Facilities. Pharmaceutical medications are dispensed and packaged seven (7) days per week by the Pharmacy located in the Central Jail Complex and delivered to other Correctional Health Service locations.
