ArtWalk Downtown Hollywood Market Producer

The City of Hollywood (COH) is currently seeking a qualified special event producer or other qualified groups or professionals (“Producer”) to manage and coordinate all aspects of the monthly Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk outdoor “Market.” The Market is a component of the monthly ArtWalk event and features vendors offering crafts, handmade goods, artwork, artisan items, antiques, collectibles, and similar products. As part of the ArtWalk the Producer will also provide a complete main stage, sound system, lighting, technical crew, and related support necessary for the event. The Producer will also provide an opening act and headliner schedule for approval by the City of Hollywood. Since 2004, the Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk has enjoyed great success as a free event showcasing galleries, artists, businesses and entertainment in Downtown Hollywood. The event takes place twelve (12) times a year on the third Saturday of each month between 6:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M. The Market component of the event is also free to the public and has identical hours of operation. The Market will be located on the 2000 block of Hollywood Blvd. If this location is not available due to unforeseen circumstances, another location within close proximity will be identified by the COH. The intent of this formal solicitation process is to award a contract to a Producer to plan, coordinate, promote and execute all aspects of the Market. Producer and vendors must park in the public garages or at an off-site location. Parking on Hollywood Boulevard between 19th and 21st Avenue will not be permitted.
