(1) Vendor needs to provide third–party accounting services to the government authority located in Ottawa, MI.• Provide full–service third–party accounting support, which may include some or all of the following functional areas.– General Ledger, Bookkeeping & Financial Statement Preparation• Maintenance of the general ledger and chart of accounts• Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing• Payroll accounting support and journal entries• Bank and account reconciliations• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GASB standards• Fixed asset and depreciation accounting– Audit Preparation & Single Audit Support• Preparation of year–end audit schedules and supporting workpapers• Coordination with MAX's independent auditor for the annual financial statement audit• Assistance responding to audit findings and developing corrective action plans• Support for state Triennial Review / State Management Review financial elements• Audit support for lease accounting under GASB 87 and Subscription–Based Information Technology Arrangements (SBITAs) under GASB 96, including identification, measurement, and disclosure of applicable agreements– Payroll & Employee Benefits Management• Full–cycle payroll processing• Payroll tax withholding, filing, and remittance • Administration of employee benefits enrollment, changes, and reconciliation • Retirement/pension plan contribution processing and reconciliation(2) The contract period will be for one year.
