Pacific Science Enterprise Centre (PSEC) Shotcrete Pile Cap Thickening Project, West Vancouver, BC

The PSEC located at 4160 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, BC, requires pile cap restoration. The scope of work includes the supply of materials, equipment, tools, services, labour, and all things necessary for the completion of shotcrete concrete reinforcing on the pile caps at the PSEC site. The pile caps under the wharf at PSEC need to be thickened for repair purposes. This requirement aims to thicken the pile caps under the wharf at PSEC. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract Documents: 1. Review site specific information. 2. Mobilization and demobilization, including: a) All crew, tools, equipment, means of access, and materials. b) Site clean-up after completion of work 3. Approximately 82.5 linear metres of pile caps that require shotcrete; details are outlined in tender drawings. Familiarization with site Before submitting a bid, bidders can visit the site and its surroundings, at their own expense, to review and verify the form, nature, and extent of the work, materials needed for the completion of the work, the means of access to the site, severity, exposure, and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions, any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies, and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account or error or negligence to properly observe and determine the conditions that will apply. All work including clean-up and demobilization must be completed by February 28, 2027.
