Request for Bids Goods Employer : Sociedade Nacional de Transporte de Energia (STE) Project: Temane Regional Electricity Project (TREP) Country: Mozambique Grant No.: D495-MOZ Issued on: 7/08/2026 The Government of Mozambique has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Temane Regional Transmission Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the acquisition of the goods listed below. For these contracts, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. Sociedade Nacional de Transporte de Energia now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of the goods listed below: RFB No DESCRIPTION 150/TREP/2025 Forklifts and Cherry Pickers 151/TREP/2025 Shelves for Warehouses 157/TREP/2025 Lot 1 – Furniture for CSP infrastructures (School) Lot 2 - Furniture for CSP infrastructures (Hospital) Bidding will be conducted through local competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” 7th edition September 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
