(1) Vendor needs to provide board legal services to the government authority located in Mount Clemens, MI. • Independent legal counsel to advise and represent them on a contractual basis under appointment by resolution. • Attorney must provide a designated individual to serve as the board’s independent legal counsel.• Legal counsel, must, therefore, either individually or with the assistance of other attorneys within the selected law firm, be able to render legal services related to all areas of law affecting the board, including to, the following:• General municipal law• County governance• Court of Appeals and Supreme Court cases• Charter interpretation• Ethics• Freedom of Information Act• Governmental cooperation, consolidation, and restructuring• Open Meetings Act• Ordinance and resolution drafting and interpretation(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than Oct 14, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for one year.
