Vendor needs to provide priority preservation bridge program management plans project service to the government authority located in Duluth, MN.– To develop bridge specific strategies to assist in program decisions to maximize the service life of key structures across agency through proactive planning for short– and long–term bridge preservation.– Each bridge management plan is intended to address short to medium term bridge scoping needs for potential work over the next ten to fifteen years – if needed – and to identify alternative strategies and decision–making tools to provide the most cost–effective life cycle analysis over the next fifty years.– The Contractor will present strategies and timing of actions to optimize investments to prolong the service life of each bridge and mitigate or delay more costly major rehabilitation such as deck replacement.– Accumulation of information and records review. – Define the timing of selected actions, maintenance of traffic, and related costs as well as life cycle costs. – Review the safety inspections and load ratings for evaluating condition and potential strengthening needs. – Identify any missing gaps of information from load rating or condition.
