Description

Vendor needs to provide nuclear reactor vessel heating test platform to the government authority located in Texas.– The system shall be a skid–mounted, turnkey thermal test apparatus capable of simulating elevated–temperature operating conditions for reactor vessel heating evaluations and associated component testing.– Vacuum pressure measurement utilizing capacitance manometers.– Accuracy, calibration methodology, and expected uncertainty of custom–calibrated Type K thermocouples operating at temperatures up to 950°C.– Availability, installation considerations, and measurement accuracy of hot–wire anemometry systems operating at temperatures up to 650°C.– Structural design evaluation of the test enclosure under internal vacuum loading conditions.– Preliminary stress and suitability assessment of enclosure materials and construction methodology.– Heater heat flux capability assessment.– Thermal uniformity evaluation.– Heat transfer analysis and verification of proposed heating methodology.
