MRB-56978 - USA (Tennessee) - Transit Ambassador Program Service - Deadline October 6,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide transit ambassador program service.• The program will improve rider confidence, transit safety, customer experience, service reliability, and compassionate engagement through a visible, approachable, non–law–enforcement presence at agency–designated facilities, routes, stops, and vehicles.• Provide customer and service navigation, de–escalation, supportive code–of–conduct education, structured outreach and warm handoffs for riders with unmet needs, youth engagement, and coordination with agency staff and community partners.• The program will complement, not replace, agency operators, supervisors, dispatch, customer care, security, clinicians, homeless outreach teams, schools, youth–serving partners, or case managers.• Customer service and navigation. Greet riders and provide wayfinding, service, fare, transfer, accessibility, and customer–service assistance; support riders with limited English proficiency through multilingual staff and approved interpretation tools, including Spanish and Kurdish capacity where applicable.• Outreach and warm handoffs. Respectfully engage people experiencing homelessness, behavioral health or substance–use concerns, medical distress, disability–related barriers, aging–related needs, or other unmet basic needs; conduct voluntary wellness checks; provide approved information or supplies; and connect riders to appropriate community resources.• Operational support and reporting. Respond to requests from operators, supervisors, dispatch, customer care, maintenance, and security; perform operator/end–of–line check–ins when operationally feasible; report facility, cleaning, safety, and service issues; and document interactions, referrals, refusals, escalations, and outcomes using agency–approved tools.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 10, 2026.(4) Non–Mandatory Pre–bid meeting will be held on September 8, 2026.
