LEGAL-17256 - USA (Boulder City, Nevada) - Public Defender Services - Deadline July 29,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide public defender services to the government authority located in Boulder City, NV.– All indigent criminal defendants must be provided with effective legal representation at no cost to the defendant.– All indigent criminal defendants, who are determined to be ineligible to pay for the attorney service and who are charged under ordinances of the applicable city, will be referred to the public defender.– The public defender will provide legal representation for each of these defendants from court appointments or screening through trial, sentencing, and post–conviction review.– Such cases include criminal misdemeanour cases that occur within the city limits.– Public defender shall at all times comply with the rules of professional conduct and all other applicable court rules.– Public Defender will attempt to initiate contact with assigned clients within forty–eight (48) hours of assignment, excluding weekends.– The public defender must commit to reviewing each case before the defendant's first appearance in court post–arraignment and discuss the case with each defendant before the first court appearance post–arraignment.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 14, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for two years.
