INSU-6220 - USA (Mesquite, Texas) - Basic Term Life, Voluntary Life and Voluntary Insurance Service - Deadline August 5,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide basic term life, voluntary life and voluntary insurance service to the government authority located in Mesquite, TX.• Insurance coverage serves as part of the financial backing for liability assumed by a contracting party through indemnification language in a contract• Instead of intentionally utilizing its own assets to support liability, the contracting party is transferring risk to the insurance company in return for payment of insurance premium. Without insurance, most contractors / vendors would not be able to meet indemnification obligations when a significant loss occurs.• The coverages and minimum limits the City reflect perceived risk potential that activities of the contractor / vendor could impose onto the City, but, in no way limits liability of the contractor/vendor• Demonstrate adequate financial resources or the ability to obtain such resources by providing the most recent fiscal year’s statement.• Demonstrate an ability to comply with required or proposed delivery schedule• Demonstrate a satisfactory record of performance by providing requested references where like products and/or services have been supplied by the firm; preferably municipalities of the same size and demographics• Demonstrate a satisfactory record of integrity and ethics in the profession and at least 5 years in the field.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 30, 2026
