Meremere Plant Room Strengthening - Contractor ROI

The University of Canterbury is seeking registrations from suitably qualified main contractors for seismic strengthening of the Meremere plant room, replacement of the roof and atrium glazing, and renewal of mechanical services. The complex, staged works will be undertaken while the building remains operational and will require careful management of access, temporary weather protection, cranage, live services and disruption to occupants. We need main contractors with the experience, capability, resources and capacity to deliver complex, staged construction while the building remains occupied and operational. Respondents must demonstrate strong health and safety performance and the ability to manage specialist subcontractors, temporary works, weather protection, live services and commissioning.
