Description
Proposals are being accepted by West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin), a municipal water district for the Bulk Chemical Storage Tanks Condition Assessment Project. The Bulk Chemical Storage Tanks Condition Assessment Project aims to evaluate the existing conditions of 51 chemical storage tanks located throughout the West Basin facilities and provide expert recommendations for rehabilitation or replacement. Of the 51 tanks earmarked for assessments, 27 tanks located at the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility in El Segundo have been prioritized for this project. West Basin requires a qualified consultant to perform tank inspections and prepare a condition assessment report that includes the findings, ranked prioritizations, and recommendations for rehabilitation or replacement. Anticipated NTP is February 2025 and the inspections of the 27 tanks and report shall be completed within six months from NTP.
