CONS-23704 - USA (Hawaii) - General Coastal Engineering Services - Deadline October 1,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide general coastal engineering services to the government authority located in Hawaii.• Assessing, planning, modelling, designing, monitoring (design and post construction), and providing engineering support for projects intended to improve the resilience of the highway and nearby coral reef that also protects our highway. Focus will be on using nature–based solutions or a hybrid combination of these options with perforated concrete structures or rock revetments.• Community outreach organizers, native cultural leaders, and environmental engineers familiar with the permit process and those in the permit offices will be key to getting permits approved and the project supported.• Preparing construction plans, specifications, and estimates for various roadway related projects in accordance with state highways and federal highway procedures and requirements.• Coordinating all activities with the design branch and attending all project coordination meetings concerning the work required under the project assignments.• Providing services during bidding and providing design support services during construction.• Coordinating all work with applicable government agencies and utility companies.(2) A contract period will be for five years.
