(1) Vendor needs to provide crossing guard services that support the safe and orderly movement of students, families, and other pedestrians traveling to and from schools throughout state to the government authority located in Sunnyvale, CA.• The contractor shall provide qualified personnel equipped and trained to assist pedestrians at city–designated intersections, pathway crossings, mid–block crossings, and other designated locations. Such personnel are referred to as crossing guards.• The contractor shall maintain adequate reserve personnel to provide coverage for absences. For known absences, a qualified replacement crossing guard shall report by the scheduled start time.• Crossing guard services shall be provided by the contractor at the designated locations, at the designated times, on all days in which school is in session during the regular school year.• The contractor shall maintain a telephone system in operation at its office during regular business hours to receive compliments, concerns, or complaints from the public regarding the services provided.• Contractor will maintain a log of all complaints, noting the name, address, and telephone number of the complaining caller, date and time that the complaint was received, identification of the employee receiving the complaint and characterization of the complaint.• The contractor shall provide all crossing guards with apparel by which they are readily visible and easily recognized as crossing guards.(2) All question must be submitted no later than September 14, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
