(1) Vendor needs to provide special counsel professional services to the government authority located in Camden, NJ.• The selected attorney must have extensive experience in municipal law, including theprovision of legal counsel to governing bodies, along with drafting and codifying municipal legislation1. Provide guidance and legal advice to the City Council of the City of Camden.2. Research and draft legislation for the City of Camden.3. Attend all caucus, regular and special meetings of City Council4. Attend meetings as requested by members of City Council or the City Attorney.5. Such other assignment as may be directed by the City Attorney.6. Attend status meetings with City personnel on an as–needed basis.7. Provide legal advice and guidance for matters related to the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA), New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act (OPRA), and Common Law access topublic records.8. Draft written legal opinions for approval by the City Attorney.9. Prepare and submit detailed monthly activity and status reports to the City Attorney.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 16, 2026.
