Description
Bids will be received for a single prime contract for converting an existing drinking water production well at Beltz 8 into an aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) facility. The Engineer’s estimate anticipates that the total base bid price will be $3.6 million and the Contract Time for the completion of all the Work of the Project included in the base bid is 370 days. The Engineer’s estimate anticipates that the total base bid price plus additive bid items will be $3.8 million; the Contract Time for the completion of all the Work of the Project, including additive bid items, is 390 days. The proposed Work is generally described as follows: 1. Demolition and modification of the existing production well facility 2. Modification of existing mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems 3. Installation of new yard piping (raw water, potable water, storm drain), electrical conduits, and instrumentation 4. Installation of downhole control valves and new column piping 5. Ancillary improvements in support of the foregoing
