WEAPONS-0166 - USA (Tempe, Arizona) - Rifles and Handguns Supply - Deadline August 12,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide rifles and handguns supply to the government authority located in Tempe, AZ.– The City is providing the following functional requirements for the proposed rifle:• AR–15 type in 5.56, short barrel (SBR), semi–automatic rifle (45 each)• Gas impingement system that will accommodate heavy suppressor use and simunition use• Rifle shall not weight more than 6.5 pounds without the suppressor• Barrel length shall be no shorter that 10.3” and no longer than 12.5”• Overall length at full stock extension with suppressor must be under 37”• Detachable suppressor (Proposers to select a suppressor that they feel is the best option for the rifle being offered  • Ambidextrous safety with semi/Safe Only, fully ambidextrous lower preferred• Black M lock / Key Mod hand guard (no quad rails) with integrated Quick Detach (QD) attachment points.  Rails must cover the length of the barrel, full length top rail – fitted to still allow the attachment of the suppressor• Adjustable collapsible butt stock with quick detach (QD) attachment points• Ergonomic pistol grip• Front and rear folding flip up sights (prefer spring loaded) must be mounted on the hand guard• Coated bolt carrier (NP3 Nickle Boron, or equal).  • Mil–spec parts to include the threading, castle nut, barrel nut, threads on the end of the barrel, pin holes, and lower attachment points• A good quality “duty reliable” trigger (no less than 4 pounds of pull force)• Threading will depend on what suppressor the proposer chooses for the rifle– Handgun Requirements:– The City is utilizing a brand name only specification for this purchase.  The handgun shall be the Glock 17 Gen 6s (35 each) and the 17T MOS Gen5s (35 each).  (2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 27, 2026
