(1) Vendor needs to provide dedicated internet protocol transit service to the government authority located in Miami, FL.– Dedicated, enterprise–grade internet protocol transit service delivered through a 10 or 100 gigabit ethernet interface.– Establish provider and upstream–path diversity through a multihomed Internet architecture and to eliminate avoidable single points of failure.– Operate, at minimum, as a tier 2 internet service provider with its own public autonomous system number, independently managed backbone, direct customer relationships, and substantial settlement–free peering with multiple external networks.– Maintain diversified upstream connectivity and shall not depend on a single third–party transit provider for global Internet reachability.– Inbound and outbound traffic shall be sampled at intervals no longer than five minutes.(2) The contract period will be for three years.
