Description
The City of Green Cove Springs is seeking a qualified, experienced engineering firm to provide consultant services to complete all prerequisite activities required for design and permitting to enable construction of the St Johns River Trail. The project aims to connect the City's Spring Park with the new Shands Bridge/First Coast Expressway. Feasibility analysis and engineering design of project is partially funded from state legislature appropriation with grant administration through FDEP. The shared-use non-motorized trail is estimated at 3.5 miles long/8 feet wide, with approximately 0.5 miles on concrete pilings over the water, 0.5 miles boardwalk over wetlands, and 2.5 miles DOT-standard sidewalk.
