MRB-56601 - USA (Rhode Island) - Communications Consultant Services - Deadline September 25,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide communications consultant services.– Provide comprehensive strategic planning process and revised its mission and vision statements.– Provide strategic consultation on communications, public relations, and media marketing.– Create and implement a proactive public relations strategy that identifies opportunities for favourable media coverage and positions agency positively across various channels with a particular focus on helping develop complex narratives and strengthening relationships with elected officials, state and federal agencies, funders, community leaders, local organizations, and local and regional news outlets, including Spanish language outlets.– Manage and coordinate media relationships to facilitate positive coverage, including developing press releases, advisories, letters to the editor, media pitches, coordinating media interviews and preparing subject matter experts, and similar activities.– Advise on messaging related to overall agency goals, as well as specific programs and initiatives, including reviewing resident communication documents and other public facing materials as needed.– Identify, recommend, and facilitate opportunities to establish meaningful rapport between agency residents, community partners and other influential stakeholders throughout the year.– Design and conduct surveys to identify needs of public housing residents and program participants.– Design and conduct focus groups with external stakeholders to inform partnership development and messaging.– Assist in working with a website developer to update existing website or create a new one.– Assist in developing and implementing a crisis communications agency plan and aid in executing crisis management communication as needed.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 16, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
