CSE-23952 - USA (Storrs, Connecticut) - Security Guard Services - Deadline July 23,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide security guard services to the government authority located in Storrs, CT.            – A provider capable of delivering reliable, professional, and consistent security services that protect museum collections, facilities, staff, and visitors while supporting a safe and welcoming public environment.– The capability to train security personnel in industry–recognized practices relevant to museum security services while supporting a safe and welcoming experience for visitors.• Providing coverage for one uniformed security guard during standard operating hours and additional times as required, including evenings, weekends, and special events • Monitoring galleries, entrances, and public areas to deter, identify, and respond to potential security risks • Observing visitor activity and ensuring compliance with museum policies in a professional and courteous manner • Responding to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns, including coordinating with emergency services when necessary • Conducting routine patrols and general security checks of the facility • Monitoring security systems such as CCTV and intrusion detection systems, as applicable • Maintaining daily logs, incident reports, and other required documentation • Communicating and coordinating with designated University staff regarding operations, scheduling, and incidents • Providing personnel who are properly trained, professionally presented, and capable of performing services in a museum or similar public environment (2) A pre–bid conference will be held on July 9, 2026.(3) All questions must be submitted no later than July 15, 2026.(4) The contract period will be three years.
