(1) Vendor needs to provide trail feasibility study services to the government authority located in Salem, MA.• Study is supported by several prior planning efforts and seeks to respond to changing conditions within the corridor that have created new opportunities for regional mobility, connectivity, resiliency, and economic development.• Comprehensive feasibility study evaluating future use alternatives for the inactive rail corridor connecting the three communities.• Provide multidisciplinary planning, engineering, and public engagement services to assess the corridor's long–term potential and develop an implementable strategy that advances regional mobility, multimodal connectivity, economic development, environmental resilience, and other community priorities.• The study will build upon previous corridor planning efforts while addressing current ownership, regulatory, operational, and physical conditions that impact reuse opportunities.• Coordination, community outreach, technical evaluation of viable corridor alternatives, conceptual planning, and implementation planning.• Study will culminate in the development of conceptual designs, implementation recommendations, and a comprehensive feasibility report that positions the Municipalities to pursue future design, environmental review, regulatory approvals, and state and federal funding opportunities while establishing a coordinated long–term vision for the corridor.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 30, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
