Epidemiology - Shredding service

The Office of Epidemiology is seeking a vendor to provide secure shredding and storage services for materials containing sensitive information and Protected Health Information (PHI). These services will be provided at three sites: central office, (4 bins: Epi (1 bin),TB (1 bin), STD/HIV (1 bin),and Immunizations (1 bin) [570 East Woodrow Wilson Avenue, Jackson, MS 39216]; (1 bin Ryan White) at the Jackson Medical Mall [350 West Woodrow Wilson Avenue, Jackson, MS 39213], and (2 bins: Medical Cannabis (1 bin) and OAIV (1 bin) [713 S Pear Orchard Rd, Plaza II, Suite 403, Ridgeland, MS 39157]. The selected vendor will supply lockable, secure totes (totes measured 43” H x 24” W x 35” D with an approximate capacity of 340 pounds) to each of the participating departments at the three locations. These totes will be emptied once per month by screened vendor personnel, and all shredding will be performed on-site to ensure the secure and compliant destruction of sensitive materials. The vendor will provide a Certificate of Destruction following each service, and secure containers with lock and key will be provided to each location free of charge. This agreement would be effective from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2030. Each program will provide codes to cover its share of the service monthly. We are requesting a quote that includes details on price per bin and any additional fees per site for a total of 7 bins and 3 sites.
