(1) Vendor needs to provide point of sale and card system replacement service. – Provide comprehensive, cloud–based campus card and dining services solution, including a Point–of–Sale (POS) system, Meal Plan Management (MPM) platform and card production integration. – The solution must support dining, retail, convenience store, catering, and campus service operations; integrate with existing university systems and third–party applications; support meal plans, stored–value accounts, mobile credentials, and payment processing; provide robust reporting and analytics; and meet all applicable security requirements.– The proposed POS system shall meet the following minimum requirements:• Support a variety of hardware configurations, ranging from full–size POS terminals to small–footprint and portable devices, with the ability to operate a cash drawer where required.• Provide a touchscreen interface with a customer–facing display.• Support a variety of barcode scanners and other peripheral devices.• Read item barcodes using both 1D and 2D barcode readers.• Support scales for the sale of weighted items.• Support dual cash drawers while maintaining individual cashier/operator accountability.• Interface with kitchen display systems (KDS) and remote kitchen printers.• Support multiple menus and configurable/custom screen layouts.• Support dual cash drawers and/or dual operator logins, while maintaining appropriate cashier accountability.• Allow receipts to include a customizable header message and/or logo identifying the applicable revenue center or service area.• Support configurable offline transaction storage and automatic upload/synchronization of stored transactions when network connectivity is restored, without requiring operator intervention.• Provide real–time monitoring of POS transaction activity and sales.• Allow authorized users to assign discounts or premiums to individual products, product categories, or tender keys.• Support the creation and configuration of multiple tender types.• The POS system shall support integration with multiple software systems and third–party applications.• The proposed system shall provide comprehensive reporting and analytics capabilities.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 30, 2026.
