ACCT-27140 - USA (Decatur, Illinois) - Independent Auditing Services - Deadline November 16,2026

Vendor needs to provide independent auditing services to the government authority located in Decatur, IL. – The selected firm shall provide all professional services necessary to complete the required audits for the three fiscal years covered by this RFP. Audit and non–audit services shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:• The auditor shall conduct an independent audit of the agency’s financial in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAS) and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards.• Issue an independent auditor’s report on the basic financial statements.• Express an opinion on the fairness of presentation in accordance with GAAP>• Prepare reports and supplementary schedules consistent with prior year’s audit.• Assist in preparing schedule of expenditures of federal awards consistent with the prior year’s report.• Complete appropriate sections of Data Collection Form and coordinate its submission.• Provide management letters and findings with recommendations for improvements.• Attend meetings with agency officials and/or the County Board to present findings.• Review and ensure compliance with applicable GASB pronouncements.• Prepare the Annual Financial Report (AFR) and other required state filings, as needed.
