This follow–on acquisition will expand the Department`s ability to procure modern information technology, e–discovery solutions, and professional legal staffing to support complex federal litigation.Artificial intelligence is poised to significantly shape the capabilities anticipated under MEGA 6 and the future of DOJ litigation support. As reflected in ongoing DOJ AI engagement, including procurement and policy discussions held across components AI will increasingly augment legal workflows, accelerate case processing, and improve data–driven decision–making.AI tools offer the potential to automate labor–intensive backoffice functions such as document review, classification, privileged material identification, and data extraction.
