(1) Vendor needs to provide older adults services to the government authority located in Honolulu, HI.– Provide services, on an “as–needed” basis, to help maintain the independence of elderly persons, sixty (60) years of age or older that meet the target population requirements.– Provide a range of social services to help older adults remain in their own homes and communities.– Promote the general health and wellbeing of older adults and include the provision of congregate and home delivered meals, as well as nutrition–related supportive services.– Reduce hunger and food insecurity;– Promote socialization;– Delay the onset of adverse health conditions; and– Provide nutrition education to support healthy eating behaviors and informed food choices consistent with the dietary needs of older adults.
