(1) Vendor needs to provide reinsurance brokerage services to the government authority located in Lexington, KY.– Provides legislative services, financial services, insurance services, and legal assistance to its members. – Brokerage services:– Market and place liability cyber, and workers' compensation reinsurance for agency with reinsurance markets worldwide.– Obtain market indications at least 60 days before renewal and quotations at least 30 days before renewal.– Maintain strong relationships with agency reinsurers and coordinate meetings with domestic and international underwriters as needed.– Put together options and alternatives for and its members on emerging risks and coverages.– Review reinsurance invoices, use best efforts to resolve errors or discrepancies, and provide ongoing reconciliation statements of premiums owed and due.– Consulting services:– Provide recommendations on reinsurance structure, placements, limits, and retentions for the liability and workers' compensation programs.– Provide catastrophe Modeling at least every other year.– On request, review treaties and premiums from direct markets to confirm they remain competitive, accurate, and coordinated with broker–placed treaties.– Communication:– Each year, provide a written stewardship report and present it to agency on a mutually agreed date.– Be available every day to respond to questions and issues from agency underwriting staff.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 2, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
