NET-17670 - USA (South Charleston, West Virginia) - Wi-Fi 7 Network Upgrade Service - Deadline November 17,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide Wi–Fi 7 network upgrade service to the government authority located in South Charleston, WV. – Design, furnish, and install a comprehensive upgrade to its wireless network infrastructure.• Replace existing Meraki MR46 access points with Wi–Fi 7 capable access points.• Replace all existing CAT6 cabling serving access points with new CAT6a cabling.• Install new dedicated access layer switches in each of the 9 wiring closets to serve access point connectivity, with dual switches per closet to support redundant access point connections.• Provide dual 10 Gbps uplinks from each new access layer switch to two separate members of the College's existing switch stack for redundancy.• Existing Meraki stack switches may remain in place as the aggregation layer if the vendor confirms compatibility and suitability for the proposed design. Replacement of the existing stack is not required unless the vendor determines it is necessary to meet the design requirements.• Conduct a wireless site survey to validate final access point counts, high–density zone designation, and cabling requirements. – Switch Requirements• New dedicated access switches shall be Cisco Catalyst C9300–24UX–M or equivalent.• Switches must provide multi–gigabit (mGig) port capability and Universal Power over Ethernet (UPoE) sufficient to support Wi–Fi 7 access point power requirements.• New access switches shall uplink to the existing switch stack using 10 Gbps connections.Because new access switches will be located in the same wiring closet as their uplink target, passive SFP+ Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables may be proposed in lieu of separate fiber optic transceivers and patch cabling where appropriate.• Each new access switch shall have dual 10 Gbps uplinks to two separate physical switches within the existing stack to provide uplink redundancy.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 10, 2026. (3) Mandatory pre–bid meeting will be held on November 5, 2026.
